Located on Lake Rosseau in Muskoka, the Re-invisioning of this family cottage seeks to become a place from which the extended family can leave, and more importantly to return, re-center, and re-connect. A place for the past, present and future.
The new cottage is located on site of the original cottage the family has owned and renovated since 1973. The original fireplace [now located on the covered deck] remains and becomes the focal point on the site, visible when first approaching the house, from the lake below, and from within the space.
